Nosa is a visual artist based in Milton Keynes, United Kingdom, originally from Edo State, Nigeria. He holds a B.A. (Hons) degree in Fine Arts from the University of Benin, Nigeria, and has developed a distinctive artistic practice rooted in colour, cultural identity, observation, and personal expression.

Working across oil on canvas and a variety of mixed media, Nosa's practice explores the relationship between colour, emotion, memory, and everyday life. His work often begins as a stream of consciousness, developing through sketching, experimentation, and an intuitive exploration of form and colour. His paintings reflect both personal experiences and broader observations of African life, culture, history, and the changing world around him.

Nosa's work draws inspiration from a diverse range of artistic approaches, including realism, expressionism, and abstraction. His creative process is influenced by history, his environment, his appreciation of different cultures, and his faith. These influences come together in work that combines traditional African visual elements with contemporary ideas and perspectives.

Over the course of his career, Nosa has participated in solo and group exhibitions in Nigeria, the United States, and the United Kingdom. His exhibition history includes presentations at the University of Benin, Chevron Oil in Port Harcourt, Getz Arena in Lagos, Open House Art 2012, and collaborations with BNG Innovates in the United Kingdom and Henry Moweta Art Galleries.

His notable exhibitions include Chronicles of a Craftsman (2014), presented in collaboration with Terra Kulture and Freedom Park in Lagos; a group exhibition with the Society of Nigerian Artists at Nike Art Gallery in Lagos (2016); an exhibition at the Building Block School for the Arts, Tennessee, USA (2018); and his 2019 solo exhibition, Drip Season, alongside The Art Around group exhibition in Lagos.

Through his work, Nosa seeks to create a dialogue between African heritage and contemporary life. His use of vibrant colour, expressive mark-making, and varied media invites viewers to consider the complexities, beauty, challenges, and possibilities of the African experience.
